Design Considerations

There are many kinds of website architecture, the trick is to determine which one is the best for your site.  Thus the beginning of any project we do for a client is a needs assessment.    Who the target audience will be and what kind of image the client wishes to project are the obvious questions.  But what about the long range objectives?  Will the site be created in a format will will lend itself to easy maintenance and  updating?   If a new theme or look is required, can those elements be changed without starting over?

The key to resolving all these issues is "planning".  A site does not have to look like everyone else's, but for it to succeed and bring people back, there should be design guidelines that will help make the visitors "surf" both aesthetically pleasing and navigationally painless.
